Misuse of Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation’s company name and logo, and director’s name and position

  • Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation (MPRC) would like to caution members of the public on a recent modus operandi by persons or companies conducting fraudulent activities using MPRC’s name, logo, Board Member name and position.
  • MPRC would like to to firmly state that MPRC did not issue any award to appoint:
  • 1. AFFIMAZ (M) SDN BHD, formerly known as RZH Setia Jaya Sdn Bhd,
    2. TYKB ENGINEERING SDN BHD,
    3. MERHAS DEVELOPMENT HOLDINGS SDN BHD
  • and did not enter into any business transactions with or related to them for any contracts in Pengerang, Johor.
  • MPRC had also obtained an injunction to restrain AMRI HOLDINGS SDN BHD, SARZ AL-YAHYA CORPORATION SDN BHD, AHMAD AMRI BIN AHMAD, AND WAN MOHAMMAD ASYRAQ BIN WAN SARKAWI from making deliberate and fraudulent misrepresentation of any business relationship between MPRC and AZMAN GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT HOLDINGS SDN BHD and/or SARZ AL-YAHYA CORPORATION SDN BHD and/or THEIR JV to act on our behalf to award contracts for projects in Pengerang, Johor and collect facilitation fees from parties interested to bid for project(s).
  • MPRC does not appoint third party individuals, companies or firms as representatives to represent, negotiate or conduct any business dealings on our behalf, award contracts or collect fees in relation to any project. All MPRC contract awards are conducted strictly in accordance to our approved procurement process and designated authority limits.
  • We urge members of the public to be vigilant against any form of documentation or communication purportedly issued by MPRC in relation to any awards in Pengerang, Johor or any projects.
